Where to get help in a mental health crisis
Mental Health Crisis Line: 0800 330 8590 (24 hour service)
The crisis line is a 24hr telephone service for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich who may be experiencing a mental health crisis. The crisis line provides an opportunity to talk to a mental health professional about your mental health crisis. The service also provides advice and information for carers, family and friends who may know someone experiencing a mental health crisis.

Do you need an interpreter?
- Call 111 and ask to be put through to the crisis line via an interpreter
In an emergency you should contact emergency services by calling 999 or go to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department of your local hospital.
You can also contact NHS 111 if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
1. Mental health hub
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust operates the “Greenwich Mental Health Hub” for adults (aged 18-64) in Greenwich. If you feel you need mental health support (not necessarily in crisis), you can ask your GP for a referral or contact the hub for guidance.

2. Men's therapy group
South East London Mind provide a range of mental health support services for Greenwich residents, including a dedicated men's therapy group:
- A safe, free space for men aged 18+ in Greenwich to talk and receive peer support.

3. Men's health walk
Live Well Greenwich runs a Men’s Health Walk.
- Free and friendly walks for men running every Thursday, 10 AM to 11 AM, starting at The Pavilion Cafe, Blackheath Ave, SE10 8XJ.

4. Men's walk and talk group
The Proper Blokes Club offer free weekly walk and talk groups.
