Our Chair, Lynne Gilchrist
I have enjoyed a 30 year career in a variety of blue-chip and smaller organisations, including Shell, Reed Elsevier and for the past 15 years, Sodexo. My roles have included sales & business development, customer experience & engagement, marketing and financial management. I also have specialist expertise and a strong personal interest in food and nutrition, and specifically how a heathy lifestyle can help reduce the burden on the NHS.
Through my current role as an internal consultant in Sodexo, I have gained a deep knowledge of how public, private and third sector organisations can work together and the challenges and benefits inherent in such partnerships.
As someone who has not worked directly in the healthcare sector, I strive to bring a fresh pair of eyes and a different way of thinking to the discussions and decisions of the Healthwatch board.
