Lola Kehinde

"I am a senior nurse with over 30 years’ experience in effectively managing complex services, issues and diverse teams within the acute and community health service. I will be bringing a wealth of experience gained working in the NHS for the past 24 years, in which I have developed managerial, financial, clinical, teaching, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills."

"I was a lawyer for 35 years working mainly for individuals and trade unions in predominantly employment and industrial injury litigation. We were also involved in campaigning with other organisations for legal reforms. Our law firm became an LLP and I was a board member and then chair of the firm."

"I am an academic at the University of Greenwich whose teaching, research, and publications - over the past 20 years - have focussed on people’s experiences of managing illness and accessing health and social care services. I am also an advocate for a greater voice for the public in all aspects of health and social care. Having spent much of my career harnessing people’s experiences of health and wellbeing to create evidence that informs practice and policy, I am now keen to contribute to Healthwatch Greenwich in a similar manner. I have also been a resident of Greenwich for over 15 years."

"I have been a lawyer for 25 years, specialising in litigation, acting on behalf of both individuals and organisations, and working with local government departments. My passion is helping those who deserve justice and results, which is exactly what I aim to bring to Healthwatch Greenwich. I have spent my career learning how both public and private sector organisations operate. I am a Trustee of a small advocacy charity, and I want to help patients make the most of the services that are provided to them by the NHS, and to ensure that standards are maintained. I have lived in Greenwich all my life, so I have a good knowledge of the services provided within the Borough."
