After Anna reached out to us at Healthwatch Greenwich earlier this year:
We facilitated a meeting between Anna and key decision makers at Lewisham and Greenwich (LGT) NHS trust.
As a result, LGT have taken action. Not only have they created this Patient Experience video above, but they have also reviewed:
- Maternity triage at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH)
- The escalation policy
- The seating arrangements in A&E
It felt very cathartic to tell our story and have the people who have the power to change things actually listen. The failings were recognised and apologies were made
