Championing equity and local leadership this Trustee Week

This Trustee Week, we’re celebrating the commitment of our trustees, local people who use their skills, lived experience, and insight to challenge inequality and drive fairer outcomes for Greenwich residents.

Our trustees keep our work rooted in our purpose: tackling health inequalities and making sure that everyone, regardless of background, language, income, or identity, can shape the services they rely on.

At a time when the national Healthwatch structure is changing, their leadership matters more than ever. They’re helping us look ahead to what comes next, exploring new ways to make sure that the voices least often heard are not lost but amplified.

At Healthwatch Greenwich, we’re proud to work alongside our trustees to keep residents’ voices at the heart of everything we do.

As we plan for what comes next, as trustees we are clear that our commitment to tackling inequality doesn’t change.

Good governance isn’t just about oversight; it’s about courage and curiosity, asking hard questions, confronting uncomfortable truths, and keeping equity at the centre of every decision. That’s what guides our Board, and it’s what will continue to guide our future.
