Dementia Café and Carers' Drop-in
Bromley Lewisham and Greenwich Mind's new Dementia Café and Carers’ Drop-in is now open!
The café is for clients with a formal diagnosis of dementia who are living in the borough of Greenwich. Family carers are also welcome to join in.
The café will run from 10am – 12pm on the first Thursday of each month (with the exception of June due to the Platinum Jubilee). It’s an opportunity for people living with a dementia diagnosis to come together for fun, arts and crafts, music and reminiscence.
Afterwards, from 1pm – 3pm, family carers can chat to one of our advisors at the drop-in, where they will be able to receive advice on anything and everything encompassing the caring role, for example: accessing social services; benefits; dementia awareness training; and carer wellbeing.
When: first Thursday of every month.
When: the Dementia Café runs from 10am – 12pm; the Carers’ Drop-in from 1pm – 3pm.
