Video: The experience of Nepalese patients during the pandemic

Hear from Gurkha veterans and their wives about accessing health services during the months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Healthwatch Greenwich has created a video to highlight the experience of older Nepalese residents in Greenwich as they have tried to access health services during the months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This video is for health and social care service providers who support members of the Nepalese community in Royal Greenwich. You will hear from Gurkha veterans and their wives about their experiences using health services. We hope that this video will help you understand the barriers and make their access to health and social care services easier.

The Nepalese Experience in Greenwich

This video was made by Healthwatch Greenwich in collaboration with Gurkha Welfare Trust and SSAFA Gurkha Services.

Community group partnerships

We are interested in hearing from local community groups about ways we can work together to improve health and social care for your service users. If you have regular meetings that we can attend or a project you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
