Rising levels of Covid in our local communities are leading to increased numbers of patients with Covid attending Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust hospitals. In addition, staff absence is increasing because of Covid, which is putting pressure on services.

For this reason the trust are now asking patients, visitors and staff to wear a face covering when coming to our hospitals and our healthcare settings in the community.

To keep patients and staff safe, everyone is asked to wear a face covering in all indoor areas of Lewisham and Greenwich hospitals unless exempt.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible.
