South East London ICS

South East London ICS is currently looking for a new service user Chair for its Greenwich Maternity Voices Partnership which is restarting soon. The candidate should have recently experienced maternity services to guide the partnership.

The role is remunerated for 5 days a month at £150 per day, which is flexible to fit around family life and other commitments.

This involves chairing bimonthly NHS working group meetings, either in person or virtually. These meetings have involvement from providers of maternity and early days of birth care in Greenwich, commissioners (who buy and monitor maternity services in Greenwich), new parents, parents to be, local voluntary organisations and other maternity organisations.

The chair works with the partnership to set a work plan and use feedback from recent users of the maternity services to assist in the design, improvement, and implementation of maternity services in the borough. The chair and other local parents and parents to be are the voice for local communities and families.

The role involves interacting and working with the Maternity Voices Partnership chairs from Lewisham, Bexley, Kings, Lambeth and St Thomas and Bromley and maternity professionals across south east London.
