Update on Synnovis cyber attack
Services across south east London continue to be affected following the ransomware cyber-attack on Synnovis earlier this week. NHS organisations across London continue to work in partnership to manage patient care.
Healthcare providers in south east London are experiencing disruption to pathology services, particularly blood tests, following the cyber attack earlier this week.
Some procedures and operations are being canceled. However, patients are advised to attend appointments as normal if they have not heard anything from their healthcare provider. Most services, including outpatients and community services, are running as usual.
For blood tests, patients are asked to attend their appointments unless they have been contacted by their provider with a cancellation. For the moment, routine blood tests in south east London have been paused.
