Help Shape Malaria Prevention in Greenwich – We Need Your Voice!

Each year, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) see around 115 cases of malaria locally — representing 8% of all UK cases — and almost all these infections are preventable with the right advice and protection.

Help Shape Malaria Prevention in Greenwich – We Need Your Voice

As LGT prepares its 2026 malaria prevention campaign, we’re helping amplify an important call for insight from the communities most affected. We especially want to hear from residents of West African heritage, and from anyone who travels to visit friends and relatives abroad.

Your real‑life experiences — how you prepare for travel, who you trust for health advice, what information feels relevant or overlooked — are vital. They can directly shape how the NHS designs messages, support, and outreach that work for our local communities.

If you can spare a short amount of time to join an online Microsoft Teams focus group, your voice will make a meaningful difference.
