From the 1 April 2020, the six (Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark) Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in South East London (SEL), all merged to form a new CCG at the regional level.
Following our GP website audit in April 2020, we spoke to PPG leads in Greenwich in order to:map the range of ways PPGs operate; understand where they are working well, & why, and describe the challenges faced by PPGs in the wake of the pandemic.
As lockdown has relaxed over the summer, we talked to local voluntary groups to hear how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the way Greenwich residents are accessing and experiencing health and care services.
In January and February 2020, we carried out a series of visits to Residential Care Homes in Greenwich to ascertain the quality of life, experience and views of residents.
In light of the known impact of Covid-19 on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic(BAME) communties, and our solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, in July we held a digital listening event.
