Woolwich Library's "magic table" helps people living with dementia in Greenwich
Bookable sessions for the “Magic Table” at Woolwich Centre Library from September 2021
From September 2021, people will be able to book 1-hour sessions to use the Mobii interactive sensory table at Woolwich Centre Library.
The "magic table" is aimed at people living with learning disabilities, age-related diseases, mental health issues or other physical health concerns. It is a great resource that promotes socialising, mobility and calmness.The table gives users the opportunity to:
- take part rather than watch passively,
- socialise and enjoy meaningful activities together
- stretch, compete, think, and be challenged,
- unwind with a physical, calming activity.
