We’re Hiring: Engagement and Volunteering Officer

This role may be suitable for part-time PhD students who are looking for a position that complements their research interests and provides practical experience in community engagement and public-facing work.
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to coordinate our volunteer programme and support our engagement activities across Greenwich. You will work closely with residents, volunteers and system partners to help deliver events, public engagement, and community-led projects, ensuring that local experiences and insights drive improvements in health and care.
Key responsibilities:
- Promote, recruit, induct and support volunteers across our work.
- Maintain volunteer records and rotas, supervision and ongoing development.
- Build strong relationships with community and system partners
- Deliver community engagement activities, events and outreach.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for public engagement and co-production.
- Support event logistics, including materials, venues and volunteer coordination.
- Collect feedback, stories and data from engagement, projects, and volunteer activity.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting to inform planning, communications and evaluation.
- Represent Healthwatch Greenwich at events, meetings and forums.
