Greenwich Equality Grants 2026

A new round of Equality Grants is funding grassroots organisations across Greenwich to address the pressures, barriers and inequalities residents tell Healthwatch Greenwich about every day

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust has announced the recipients of its 2026 Greenwich Equality Grants, supporting community groups working to reduce health inequalities and improve wellbeing. While the Trust has not disclosed the financial value of each award, it has outlined the programmes being funded — and these align closely with the challenges people share with Healthwatch Greenwich.

Across our engagement work, residents describe the same pressures: loneliness, financial strain, mental health difficulties, language barriers, and a lack of accessible support. The newly funded projects respond directly to these realities.

Everyone’s a Singer will run 15 creative workshops to build confidence and connection. Advocacy in Greenwich will deliver a 12‑week wellbeing course for people who often feel unheard in traditional services. DChanger, Ochu, and the Proper Blokes Club will offer regular sessions supporting men’s mental health, Deaf residents, and people seeking safe spaces to talk. Other grantees — including Creating Ground, Greenwich Debt Centre, Greenwich Vietnam Women’s Group, Greenwich Homeless Project, and Afri Life M.I.N.D. — will provide culturally specific support, debt advice, social connection, homelessness outreach and mindfulness activities.

For Healthwatch Greenwich, these grants matter because they strengthen the community safety net. They offer residents more places to turn when formal services feel difficult to access or when people need support that reflects their culture, identity or lived experience.

Anyone wanting to connect with these organisations can contact Healthwatch Greenwich for signposting, or visit Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust’s website for full project details.
