Temporary changes at "The Source"
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust has announced that The Source in Horn Park will close from 30 April 2026 to allow essential refurbishment work to take place. While the building is upgraded, services will continue from 5 May 2026 in a temporary mobile clinic based in the Horn Park Community Centre car park, directly opposite the current site on Sibthorpe Road. This short‑term setup is designed to ensure people can still access support while the main building is out of use.
What to Expect
During the refurbishment period, Advanced Nurse Practitioner walk‑in clinics will continue, offering help with minor illnesses and health concerns. Specialist sexual health services will pause, but staff will be available to offer advice and direct people to alternative clinics if needed. The refurbished building is expected to reopen in summer 2026 under a new name — the Horn Park Health Hub — with more clinic space and the potential for expanded therapy and rehabilitation services.
For people in Greenwich, these changes matter because The Source provides convenient, community‑based healthcare. The temporary relocation means services remain close by, reducing disruption while improvements are made.
