Winter vaccinations and winter health: what can I do to keep safe this winter?

From 20 December, you will no longer be able to book winter vaccinations online or via NHS 119, however, you can still visit a COVID-19 walk-in vaccination site or find a pharmacy offering the flu vaccine, but you may have further to travel further.

Emma's story: "I miss going out, meeting people, and just having someone to talk to”

Emma spent her life in Greenwich building a successful career as a seamstress and enjoying a wonderful family life with her husband, Thomas, and their daughter, Elaine. But when Thomas passed away and with Elaine living far away, loneliness quickly became Emma's constant companion. Discovering Healthwatch Greenwich's Befriending support, while not solving all her challenges, was a way for Emma to find much-needed connection.
