Our Annual Report for the year 2019-2020- How your feedback helped us work to improve health and social care services in Greenwich over the past year, and what our key priorities will be for 2020-21.

In 2018, we published a preliminary report on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Greenwich. This report builds on our earlier work and follows up on how our recommendations have been addressed.

This briefing focuses on the recent experiences of vulnerable children and their families when accessing health and social care services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We investigated the breadth and level of information available to patients on GP websites and how easy it is to navigate websites to find information.

On Young Carer’s Awareness day, we visited a secondary school in Greenwich to speak to pupils who are also carers. We discussed their health concerns and how young
people can influence the design and delivery of services that affect them.

In February 2018, Healthwatch Greenwich conducted an Enter and View at The Oaks Care Home. In January 2020, we used our power of Enter and View to revisit the care home.

In November 2017, Healthwatch Greenwich conducted an Enter and View at Charlton Park care home. In January 2020, we used our power of Enter and View to revisit the care home.

This escalation report is regarding the security issues experienced at Charlon Park Care home by members of Healthwatch Greenwich Enter & View representatives.

In May 2018, Healthwatch Greenwich conducted an Enter and View at Westcombe Park nursing home. In January 2020, we used our power of Enter and View to revisit the care home.

In May 2018, Healthwatch Greenwich conducted an Enter and View at Time Court Residential + nursing home. In January 2020, we used our power of Enter and View to revisit the care home.

This escalation report is regarding concerns raised by service users, who have been unable to contact the branch surgery at Eltham Medical Practise by phone.
